Position Overview
The Senior Design Engineer supports subsea engineering projects and provides technical expertise across system design, field development, project execution, and new technology development.
This multidisciplinary role supports Front End Engineering & Development studies, large subsea system projects, and new technology development. The Senior Design Engineer provides engineering leadership and technical expertise across domestic and international deepwater subsea projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and engineering leadership for subsea system projects.
- Support Front End Engineering & Development studies and project execution.
- Develop and review subsea system designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support new technology development and qualification activities.
- Coordinate engineering activities across multiple technical disciplines.
- Support system integration, testing, installation, and project delivery.
- Provide technical support for domestic and international deepwater subsea projects.
- Work with project teams, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable project requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with subsea equipment and system design.
- Strong technical knowledge of subsea systems and engineering principles.
- Ability to support multidisciplinary engineering activities across complex subsea projects.
- Experience providing technical guidance and engineering support throughout project execution.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
