Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively execute assigned projects, ensuring strategic execution plans are fully developed and implemented.
- Ensure contracts are agreed upon and adhered to throughout project execution.
- Maintain effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
- Plan and manage approved team resources and project budgets appropriately.
- Promote an environment of continuous improvement and employee engagement through regular communication with the team.
- Manage the project schedule, identify critical path issues, and develop mitigation actions to support on-time delivery.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers and serve as the central point of contact.
- Monitor team dynamics and take appropriate action to address issues related to miscommunication, differences of opinion, misaligned objectives, or inexperience.
- Establish project goals, timelines, and success criteria and align the team accordingly.
- Provide project forecasts for completion of equipment, services, cash milestones, and margin.
- Share knowledge and best practices across the company.
- Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company HSE guidelines.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with company QMS requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, or a management discipline is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management, construction management, or project controls experience.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, including assigning responsibilities and establishing schedules for individual team members.
